You grab a shovel and excitedly pick where you want to dig your two large buckets of gem bearing dirt and sand. Heading back over to the flume you start to rinse what you dug in and see the beautiful garnets, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, aquamarines, and other colorful gems appearing in your screen for you to keep. If you mined in the right place, you may even see that you dug a real natural earth mined diamond!

Included in the ultimate mining experience you receive a free facet cut for any one of your colored gemstones. If you want any of your stones set into jewelry, a large variety of gold and silver settings are available for purchase to turn your mined gemstones into rings, earrings, or pendants.
After you are done mining, you are taken on a tour of Fantasia's gem and mineral museum, which is one of the largest quartz, gem, and mineral museums in Arkansas. This museum contains some of the rarest minerals and gemstones in the world, with more exotic specimens being added regularly.
As part of the ultimate mining experience you are also given a private tour of the owners most prized crystals and taken to the elite gem vault, which contains hundreds of pieces of jewelry and faceted gemstones for those with the most discriminating tastes.
If you are from out of town and plan on staying the night, Fantasia will make reservations for you at one of Mt. Ida's charming local hotels. Multi-day mine trips are available for those that want to extend their ultimate quartz mining experience even longer.
